About

The purpose of this toolkit is to help individuals, families, neighbors, churches, and community helpers across the Texas Hill Country and beyond care for emotional and spiritual needs after the recent devastating floods. Developed from existing Spiritual First Aid resources and presented in partnership with the H.E. Butt Foundation, this collection is rooted in faith, informed by research, and committed to strengthening relationships. It offers practical tools for walking alongside others and caring for yourself. You’ll find a wide range of supports, including field guides, fact sheets, devotionals, self-assessments, coping tools, and a webinar. Examples of topics covered include how to recognize signs of trauma, support children and youth, respond to grief and spiritual struggles, manage stress and burnout, and cultivate practices that build resilience, belonging, and hope. Scroll to explore resources or use the “Topic” and “Content Type” drop-downs below to quickly navigate and access the tools that best fit your needs.
